Thinking about selling? Here are three essentials for selling your home faster and for more money. I'm Danielle Scott with Keller Williams Realty.
1. Home Warranty:
Offering a home warranty is a great selling tool. Home warranties give buyers assurance that if any covered issues come up they can get it fixed for a nominal fee under the home warranty. It also gives them the ability to have a licensed professional perform necessary work without breaking the bank.
2. Property Disclosures:
Transparency through property disclosures is a great way to be upfront about everything. It'll save you time and money. There's less of a chance of buyer's remorse and it'll keep buyers away that may have an issue with any disclosed items.
The property disclosures are uploaded to the MLS and available for any agent working with a buyer to see. They can help inform a buyer about the big picture of the property before they view it or make an offer.
3. Be Flexible & Show Ready:
Be as flexible as possible with showings and have the home show ready. Making your home available for showings can be the difference in the buyer falling in love with your house or another house on their list. Many buyers stop after they found the one.
Selling your home can be inconvenient but remember, it is a short-lived inconvenience. Be sure your home smells nice and is clean. Clean homes relay the message the home has been taken care of and gives a buyer more confidence in making an offer.
